PowerSorb™ 1130

PowerSorb™ 1130 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a HALS and benzotriazol UV absorber for water- and solvent-based coatings. It is a blend of α-[3-[3-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4hydroxyphenyl]-1-oxopropyl]-ω- hydroxypoly(oxo-1,2-ethanediyl) (46-54%), α-[3-[3-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl]-1-oxopropyl]-ω-[3-[3-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl]-1-oxopropyl] poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl) (36-41%) and polyethyleneglycol 300 (10.5-13.5%). It provides efficient protection to light sensitive substrates. It offers high temperature and extraction resistance. It is soluble in butylcarbitol, hexane dioldiacrylate, trimethylol propane triacrylate and ethyl glycol. PowerSorb™ 1130 is suitable for industrial- and automotive coatings.
