SUNOVIN® 5530

SUNOVIN® 5530 by SUNSHOW is hydroxyphenyl-benzotriazole type UV absorber. It exhibits high temperature and extraction resistance. The dispersion of SUNOVIN® 5530 in water borne systems may be eased by dilution with a water miscible solvent such as butylcarbitol. Recommended for both solvent and water based coatings such as automotive coatings, industrial coatings & trade sales coatings. It may be used in combination with a light stabilizer of the sterically hindered amine class (HALS) such as SUNOVIN® 5529 to impart superior coating protection against gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination and color change. The recommended dosage level should be 1-3%, based on solid weight.
