STEPCOTE® W-806 by Stepan Company is a VOC- & APE-free, effective wetting agent for waterborne coatings. It significantly improves gloss and hiding while enhancing freeze thaw stability, color acceptance and temperature stability. It moderately improves low foaming, wet scrub resistance and washability. This additive can be incorporated during the letdown phase of production or post added to the final formulation. The typical usage level is 2-6 lbs/100 gallons based on active content. STEPCOTE® W-806 is used in industrial coatings.
