Fluorosil® OH C7-F

Fluorosil® OH C7-F by Siltech provides solvent-, stain-, mar and fingerprint resistance. It is fluoroalkyl and alkyl carbinol functionalized silicone based on non-PFOS fluoroalkyl chains. Excellent softness and slip properties are due to fluoroalkyl pendant and reactivity for substantivity & improved performance are due to the carbinol. It also offers flexibility and lubricity. The primary hydroxyl group present in the system provides reactivity with moieties such as isocyanate, epoxy and esters. Fluorosil® OH C7-F is suitable for use in coatings. The recommended dosage is 0.2-5.0% of the formulation. Its shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
