KP-310 by Shin-Etsu is a high molecular weight silicone resin that forms convection cells on the painted surface. Acts as a general purpose slip and hammertone agent resulting in a tortoise shell pattern in the paint. KP-310 is effective when aluminium powder or paste is used as a silver pigment.
