AquaFLON® 178G by Shamrock is a stable aqueous dispersion of a blend of a synthetic wax andpolytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Acts as a slip control agent,and abrasion resistance agent. Provides slip (Low COF), rub and abrasion resistance properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. AquaFLON® 178G is used in water-based inks and industrial coatings. It is recommended for both clear and pigmented compositions, at 1-5% of active solids to the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180.
