Actiron® NX 452

Acid blocked catalyst developed for solvent-based and water-based stoving systems. Acts as an accelerator of the reaction between hydroxyl functional resins or epoxy resins and hardener resins based on melamine. Provides faster curing with higher density of crosslinking property. Gives the possibility to reduce the curing temperature, and time, depending on the resins systems used. Because of the better density of cross linking, coatings will have better humidity and chemical resistance, and also an improvement in corrosion resistance. Due to its non yellowing properties, it is used in high quality clear coats.
