Actmix® HEXA-80GE F500

Actmix® HEXA-80GE F500 is a hexamethylenetetramine. Acts as a vulcanization accelerator. It contains 20 wt% polymer binder and dispersing agent. It is a weak alkaline accelerator for slow vulcanization. Vulcanization reaction with a slow rate and a high degree of cross-linking of the vulcanizate starts as soon as it is added in. Thiols, sulfenamides, thiurams and dithiocarbamates are activators and secondary accelerators to HEXA contained rubber compounds. It is especially suitable with resorcinol to adhesion between rubber and metal or steel cord as a formaldehyde donor. It cannot lead to blooming appearance normally. It is compatible with NBR, SBR, AR and ECO. Its recommended addition level is 0.6-0.8 phr with 3-4 phr sulfur as a main accelerator, 1.3-1.6 phr with 2.5-3.2 phr.
