METOLAT® P 530 by Munzing is an anionic sulfonated naphthaline. Acts as a dispersing agent for carbon black & protective colloid in aqueous dispersions and emulsions. It is compatible with most anionic and non-ionic additives. Offers good resistance to salts, alkaline and acidic environment. Recommended for grinding & dispersing pigments and dyes in aqueous systems. Treat levels of 10% on solids are necessary to obtain stable, free flowing 35% carbon black suspensions. METOLAT® P 530 has a shelf life of 12 months.
