Salt of a polycarboxylic acid. Acts as a dispersing agent for inorganic pigments and fillers in aqueous systems. Possesses low foam tendencies. EDAPLAN 516 is compatible with many emulsion polymers. It can be used over a wide pH range and prevents the formation of settlements and stabilizes the system. EDAPLAN 516 is particularly suitable for dispersion of titanium dioxide, sheet silicates and fillers to achieve a constantly low paste viscosity.
