EDAPLAN® 397

Blend of special polyglycol esters, biodegradable. Acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for pigments in water-based as well as non water-based systems. Reduces the viscosity of the grind, improves gloss, color strength and prevents flocculation. It is especially designed for water-based systems, but it is also suitable for non water-based systems. EDAPLAN 397 is compatible with all common binders and shows only low foaming tendency. EDAPLAN 397 is suitable for coatings with indirect food contact. Furthermore its ingredients are biodegradable and partially based on renewable raw materials. EDAPLAN 397 is particularly suitable for dispersing organic pigments, i.e. phthalocyanine pigments. It can be used in binder free as well as binder containing grinds and pigment concentrates.
