Solplus™ D565

Solplus™ D565 by Lubrizol is a 50% active polymeric dispersant in methoxy propyl acetate. It is recommended for the dispersion of inorganic pigments & fillers such as titanium dioxide, ATH and calcium carbonate into elevated temperature cured unsaturated polyester resins for SMC/BMC. It is designed for use in performance coatings. Solplus™ D565 enables high filler or flame retardant loadings. It offers improved productivity that can be achieved through increased filler levels and shorter dispersion times. It provides improved wetting, low dispersion viscosity and excellent storage stability. The dosage level of the grade is 1% generally and for inorganic pigments 2 mg active dispersant per square meter of pigment surface area. The RRD is 2 years.
