Lubrizol® 2063 by Lubrizol is a free acid complex hydroxy/carboxy functional phosphate ester. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Improves adhesion of coatings onto metal substrates. Enhances corrosion resistance. It incorporates easily and shows dramatic synergistic effect against corrosion when combined with zinc phosphate. Lubrizol® 2063 may enhance the adhesion of coatings applied to poorly prepared substrates. Used in metal coatings, coil and industrial coatings based on thermosetting alkyds, acrylics, polyesters and lacquers.
