Ircogel™ 900

Ircogel™ 900 by Lubrizol is calcium sulfonate. Acts as a rheology control additive to be used in coatings and inks. Offers improved strike-through resistance. It maintains yield value during cure cycle thus decreasing product defects, and flow of the coating during application. Controls sag in PVC plastisol coatings and similar materials by creating a more shear-thinning rheological behavior. It reduces processing time. Used in dip coatings, cloth coatings, screen printing inks and coil coatings. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Recommended dosage level of Ircogel™ 900 is 0.5-2.0%.
