High efficiency alkali swellable emulsion thickener. Offers direct stirring into latex under low shear. Develops viscosity upon addition of neutralizing bases. Provides good electrolyte (salt) stability. Exhibits rheology which is "long" and “leggy”. Used for applications like textile coatings, and foam coatings. Approved by FDA under 175.105, 175.300, 175.320, 175.380, 175.390, 176.180 and 177.1210.
