Luvotix® SHP

Finely micronized polyamide based on a modified fatty acid amide. Acts as a rheological additive. Shows a strong non-newtonian, shear-thinning flow profile with thixotropic properties. Offers sag-control, good leveling, anti-settling and improved application properties. LUVOTIX® SHP is temperature stabilized and therefore suitable for high solid formulations which are processed above 65°C. Used in solvent-free and solvent-borne formulations, specifically in medium to higher polar formulations at extended process temperatures. It may be used in industrial coatings and corrosion protection coatings. Recommended dosage level is typically 0.5-2 %, based on total formulation weight.
