Omnistab BP 12

Omnistab BP 12 by IGM Resins is a UV light absorber. It retards photo oxidative degradation and helps to prevent the discoloration and delamination of clear coatings.

In outdoor applications the performance can be improved in a synergistic combination with a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), such as Omnistab LS 292.
It is used in paper, wood, metal, plastics and glass coatings.
The recommended addition level for interior clear coatings is 1.0-3.0% and for exterior clear coatings the same addition levels are recommended but in conjunction with 0.5-2.0% Omnistab LS 292 (HAS).
Omnistab BP 12 has a shelf life of 12 months.
