Omnirad 379 (Former Irgacure 379) by IGM Resins acts as a photoinitiator. It is a highly efficient UV-curing agent used to initiate the photo polymerization of unsaturated prepolymers in combination with mono- or multi-functional monomers.

It is especially suitable for pigmented UV-curable systems, photoresists and printing plates.
Its excellent solubility (compared to Omnirad 369) makes it easy to incorporate into nearly all formulations.
It is suitable for surface, through and LED cure.
It is designed for clear, white and pigmented systems.
It is used in paper, plastic & metal coatings and offset, screen inks & varnishes.
The recommended addition level for offset inks is 2.0-4.0%, screen inks is 2.0-4.0% & 1.0-3.0% Omnirad 184, pigmented coatings is 1.0-4.0% Omnirad 369 and photo polymers for imaging is 0.5-5.0%.
Omnirad 379 has a shelf life of 36 months.
