ZETASPERSE® 3100

ZETASPERSE® 3100 by Evonik is a high-performance wetting and dispersing agent for waterborne formulations. It is a tailored combination of stabilizing chemistries that provides outstanding stabilization of carbon black and inorganic pigment dispersions with robust let-down compatibility in waterborne coating and ink systems. Also it is free from APEs, solvents, glycols and HAPS. This additive is based on polymeric dispersant technology with characteristics that enable strong interactions with a variety of pigment surface chemistries. This property, combined with an optimized stabilization mechanism, provides performance benefits over current dispersant technologies and it is best suited for the following pigment chemistries: carbon black (all types) and inorganics (PW6, PY42, PR101, and others).It is advantageous in providing improved dispersion rheology as it exhibits inhibition of yield-value development and stable viscosities over long-term/heat aging and hence it is suitable for use in aqueous pigment dispersions.
