ZEOLEX® 98

ZEOLEX® 98 by Evonik acts as a titanium dioxide extender on both sides of CPVC. It is a synthetic amorphous sodium aluminosilicate powder. It is developed from Huber Controlled Function Technology. Below CPVC, the particles of (0.1-0.5 microns) work as a spacer/extender for titanium dioxide. Above CPVC, the structure based on the particle size building blocks functions as an effective light scattering material to increase opacity and compensate for a reduced TiO2 content. Exhibits chemical inertness, scrub resistance, neutral pH, better weather resistance and excellent overall application properties & flow behavior. It is stable and non-reactive under normal conditions. ZEOLEX® 98 is suitable for solvent- and water-borne paints and coatings. It is listed in U.S. EPA TSCA inventory list.
