VESTANAT® EP-M 222 by Evonik is a solvent-based silane functional grade (85 % by wt. in butyl acetate). Acts as a cross-linker. Exhibits curing at elevated temperatures and excellent chemical resistance. Soluble in ketones, esters and aromatics. Suitable for the formulation of highly scratch resistant coatings and adjustment of flexibility of finished coatings. VESTANAT® EP-M 222 is suitable as a booster for scratch resistance for stoving enamels (plug-in technology).
