Tego® Twin 4000

Tego® Twin 4000 by Evonik is a siloxane-based gemini surfactant. It combines with substrate wetting with good defoaming properties. It offers good effectiveness, crater prevention and elimination. It is designed for water-borne-, solvent-borne- and UV coatings. It exhibits flow promotion reduction of static and dynamic surface tension. It is compatible with 2-pack 100% and pigment coatings and partly compatible with uv-radiation and clear coatings. It finds application in wood coatings, general industrial coatings, architectural paints and printing inks. Tego® Twin 4000 has an additional level of 0.05-0.5% on total formulation. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
