TEGO® Phobe 1500 N by Evonik acts as a hydrophobing agent with water-beading effect. Suitable for water- and solvent-borne formulations in silicone resin paints and plasters. It is recommended for hydrophobic masonry coating and plasters, silicate emulsion paints & plasters, siloxane masonry paints and plasters, leather top coats, wood and industrial coatings. TEGO® Phobe 1500 N has a shelf life of 12 months. It is added to the grind before let-down at a dosage rate of 1-8%.
