TEGO® Foamex 812

TEGO® Foamex 812 by Evonik is an effective, universal defoamer to prevent macro- and micro-foam. It is based on polyether siloxane technology. Designed for solvent-based and radiation-curing wood coatings, printing ink-, clear and pigmented formulations. It is a new generation and environmentally friendly grade and exhibits excellent comprehensive properties. Suitable for pigment concentrates, industrial-, automotive and can coatings. It is a sustainable alternative and does not contain biocide. It focuses on minimized environmental impact and maximized handprint by enabling formulators to develop high performance, low VOC and environmentally friendly waterborne formulations. Ideal for grinding phase in combination with more compatible let-down defoamers. It can be applied by brush/ roller, airless & compressed air spraying, flexo/ gravure printing, dip-, flow- and curtain coating. TEGO® Foamex 812 is used at a dosage level of 0.1-1 % and has a shelf life of 24 months at -10-40 °C.
