Dynasylan® MTMS by Evonik acts as a mar resistance agent and crosslinking agent for sol gel applications. It is a colorless and low-viscosity alkyltrialkoxysilane. In some sol-gel applications, it is partially hydrolyzed to form a preproduct that can be further crosslinked using temperature. It imparts flame resistance properties. Dynasylan® MTMS provides mar resistant coatings having a higher UV-stability than traditional organic coatings.
