Catalyst 511 by Evonik is a highly reactive, neutral platinum catalyst. It is used to cure vinyl-functional silicone polymers with SiH-functional silicone crosslinkers. It is suitable for the manufacture of addition curing formulation such as 2-part silicone formulation for coatings. Catalyst 511 allows the addition of very small quantities. Recommended usage level is 10-50 ppm in a formulation.
