ANCAMINE® 2880

ANCAMINE® 2880 by Evonik acts as a curing agent. Itis a low viscosity modified cycloaliphatic amine designed for use with liquid epoxy resin for ambient and relatively low temperature cure. Offers color stability, water spotting, excellent yellowing resistance and outstanding resistance to carbamation.

• ANCAMINE® 2880 is easy to use and ideal for high-performance topcoat applications.
• It delivers excellent mechanical properties with abrasion and abrasion resistance.
• It provides excellent surface appearance, fast cure speed, rapid hardness development with excellent UV and chemical resistance.
• Exhibits low color and high gloss with a better EHS profile as it contains no nonyl phenol, bisphenol A or salicylic acid.
• It is suitable for high solids and solvent-free coatings.
• Designed for industrial and decorative flooring.
• The recommended use level is 50 phr using bisphenol A diglycidyl ether resin BADGE (EEW=190).
• It has a shelf life of 24 months.
