ANCAMIDE® 2864

ANCAMIDE® 2864 by Evonik is a next generation modified polyamide curing agent. This grade is intended to be used in epoxy coatings for high performance, corrosion resistant coatings. It exhibits low viscosity, fast through-cure with good blush resistance at both ambient and low temperature condition (5°C). It possesses fast mechanical property development. ANCAMIDE® 2864 is designed for use in marine, protective and high solids coating applications. It can be stored for at least 24 months from the date of manufacture. The recommended use level with bisphenol-A based epoxy resin (EEW=190) is 65 phr. It is supplied in benzyl alcohol.
