E-Sperse® RS-1596

E-Sperse® RS-1596 by Ethox Chemicals is an anionic, VOC-free surfactant and emulsifier. It is a poly(oxyethylene) styrenated phenol allyl glycidyl. It improves gloss, freeze thaw stability, latex stability, washability of coating and lower foaming during polymerization. It increases moisture sensitivity and reduces coating defects such as pin holing due to surfactant extraction. It is compatible with acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl ester modified latexes. E-Sperse® RS-1596 is suitable for hydrophobic coatings such as deck stains, direct-to-metal paints, primers, and other coatings in which high water resistance and excellent adhesion are desired. It is TSCA compliant.
