Dapro® DF 503

Dapro® DF 503 by Elementis is a blend of metallic salt, polymeric derivatives, emulsifiers and mineral oil-based defoamer. It is a water dispersible, non-explosive, VOC-free, opaque off-white liquid with mild petroleum like-odor. It is suitable to use in the let-down stage of sensitive coatings systems where optical properties are very important (e.g. gloss, transparency).

• Particularly effective in flexographic, gravure and screen printing inks and water-based industrial coatings.
• It exhibits fast knockdown even at low use levels.
• Typically used at 0.3-1.0% on total weight, but should be optimized by testing.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years from date of manufacture.
• Dapro® DF 503 is incompatible with oxidizing agents.
