Dapro® DF 404

Dapro® DF 404 by Elementis acts as a defoamer. It is a blend of polypropylene glycol ethers. It shows excellent compatibility and is suitable to use in the let down stage of sensitive coatings systems where optical properties are very important (e.g. gloss, transparency).

• It can be used for many types of applications including roller coating, spraying, dipping and flow coating.
• It is particularly effective in pigmented acrylate, polyurethane, alkyd combinations, water reducible baking enamels and hybrid systems.
• It is used in industrial coatings, paints and inks.
• Recommended usage level is 0.3-1.0% on total weight, but should be optimized by testing.
• Dapro® DF 404 has a shelf life of 2 years.
