BLR-8086 by Elementis is a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate-based PU hardener. It exhibits curing with hydroxyl-functional resin such as polyester or acrylate, especially in light-stable and weather resistance. It shows good stability in one-component polyurethane.

BLR-8086 substituted for amino resin(20-40%), to improve toughness, impact resistance and T bend test.
It is used in one-component polyurethane baking paints, amino baking paints and inks.
It has a shelf life of 18 months.
