Bentone® 34

Bentone® 34 by Elementis is an organic derivative of a bentonite clay. It is used as a rheological additive designed for low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It prevents pigment settling during storage and prevents syneresis in thixotropic systems.

• It improves flow and leveling and controls sagging on vertical surfaces and penetration on porous substrates.
• It is used for anti-corrosive paints, automotive finishes, bituminous compositions, coil coating systems, dip coatings and industrial finishes.
• Also used in interior and exterior house paints including do-it-yourself paints, paint stripper pastes, printing inks, putty and caulking compounds, refinishes for household appliances, road marking paints.
• Bentone® 34 has a shelf life of 4 years.
