Dynoadd® F-701B

Non-silicone, polymeric additive. Particularly effective as anti-foaming, air-release and anti-popping agent. Can be used in solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems independently of lacquer chemistry. It may be used in all layers in multi-layered systems. It controls surface tension in solvent based coating systems. Small additions contribute to improved flow, and a reduction in surface imperfections like craters, orange peel and pinholes. Offers good compatibility with many wax dispersions giving good performance also in highly waxed coating. Recommended for coil, general industrial, packaging and PVdF coatings. It is completely soluble in solvents like aromatic hydrocarbons and longer chained esters and alcohols. It has a limited solubility in glycols, and is not soluble in water. The recommended dosage rates are 0.0.5-0.2% for coil coatings, 0.1-0.2% for general industrial coatings, 0.05-0.2% for packaging coatings and 0.1-0.2% for PVdF coatings.
