DOWSIL™ Z-6121 Silane

DOWSIL™ Z-6121 Silane by Dow is amino-methoxysilane in alcohol. It acts as an adhesion promoter and bonding agent. It can be used as a room-temperature curing agent for silicone resin based coatings. Offers efficiency over a wide range of concentrations. It improves adhesion and salt-spray resistance of epoxy coatings, and adhesion of alkyd finishes to glass. Used in waterborne and solventborne coating formulations. Applications of DOWSIL™ Z-6121 Silane include prime surface, glass and metal coatings. It has a shelf life of 36 months. Complies with FDA 175.105 regulation.
