DOWSIL™ 74 Additive

DOWSIL™ 74 Additive by Dow is a solventless, 100% active polymeric silicone foam control agent. Provides reduced air entrainment, good surface appearance and stability under high shear mixing. Gives efficiency at low concentrations and contains no hydrophobic particles. It shows compatibility with waterborne acrylic binder system and has low tendency to cause surface defects. Applications include wood coatings, inks and automotive base coats. DOWSIL™ 74 Additive complies with FDA CFR 176.210, BfR XV and Swiss Ordinance CFR 176.210. Recommended dosage level ranges from 0.1-1.0%. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
