Talc -C

Talc. Acts as a filler. It is colorless or white and shows pearl luster in its cleavage surface. Talc -C is acid proof and exhibits good lubricity, flame resistivity, insulativity, high melting point, chemical inactivity and good hiding power. Has a tendency to split into flakes due to its layer structure. It is soft with good luster and has strong absorbability. Used in water-based and oil-based paints, industrial resin paints, primers and protective paints. Can also be used in water-proof paints and white pigments.
