DISPERBYK® -2014

DISPERBYK® -2014 by BYK is 100% solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive. It is a VOC- and label-free, medium viscosity copolymer with pigment-affinic groups. It offers excellent deflocculating effect with transparency and perfect color development of organic pigments and carbon blacks. It increases gloss and reduces haze. It is designed for aqueous coatings and printing inks to solvent-borne and solvent-free systems, as well as UV systems. It is suitable for food contact printing inks. DISPERBYK® -2014 is recommended for general industrial-, automotive- and floor coatings. It is also used for architectural-, wood and furniture-, marine and corrosion protection coatings. Its recommended dosage level for organic pigment is 15-40% and carbon black is 20-90%. It is especially suitable for producing aqueous resin-free, stable pigment concentrates with a pigment content of 20-60 %.
