DISPERBYK® -199 BF

DISPERBYK® -199 BF by BYK is VOC- & APEO-free wetting and dispersing agent for both inorganic and organic pigments. It is a biocide-free solution of a copolymer with pigment-affinic groups. It deflocculates and stabilizes pigments thus prevents flooding and floating in pigment blends. It imparts increased gloss, color strength, transparency or hiding power, and reduced viscosity. DISPERBYK® -199 BF improves flow properties and allows higher pigment loading. It is developed for aqueous coatings (PVK 16-35%) and highly filled pigment concentrates. It is designed for general industrial-, architectural-, coil-, wood- and furniture coatings. It is also used for leather coatings, marine and corrosion protection coatings. Its recommended dosage level for inorganic pigment is 10-30%, titanium dioxide is 2.5-7.5%, organic pigment is 37-100% and carbon black is 75-125%. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
