DISPERBYK® -168 TF

DISPERBYK® -168 TF by BYK is a tin-free, wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-free and radiation curable systems. It is high molecular weight solution of a high molecular weight block copolymer with pigment-affinic groups. It deflocculates and stabilizes pigments thus prevents flooding and floating in pigment blends. It provides increased gloss, color strength, transparency or hiding power, and reduced viscosity. DISPERBYK® -168 TF is suitable for UV-curable industrial coating, flexo and offset printing inks as well as food contact printing inks. Its recommended dosage level (for use in coatings) for inorganic pigment is 10-15%, titanium dioxide is 5-6%, organic pigment is 30-90% and carbon black is 70-140%. Its addition level for use in printing inks is 5-10% for titanium dioxide, 30-50% for organic pigment and carbon black. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
