DISPERBYK® -162 TF

DISPERBYK® -162 TF by BYK is an aromatic and tin-free, wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne coatings and pigment concentrates. It deflocculates and stabilizes pigments thus prevents flooding and floating in pigment blends. It imparts increased gloss, color strength, transparency or hiding power, and reduced millbase viscosity. DISPERBYK® -162 TF is suitable for the stabilization of carbon blacks and organic pigments. It is used for industrial-, wood- and furniture coatings. Its recommended dosage level for inorganic pigment is 12-20%, titanium dioxide is 5-6%, organic pigment is 25-85% and carbon black is 60-120%. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
