DISPERBYK® -160

DISPERBYK® -160 by BYK acts as a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne systems. It is a solution of high molecular weight block copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Provides a uniform electrical charge to pigment surfaces. Deflocculates pigments and provides steric stabilization. Offers stabilized color strength and high gloss. Increases transparency and hiding power. Provides improved pigment wetting, gloss, leveling and high pigment loading. DISPERBYK® -160 is used in general industrial, automotive refinish, automotive OEM, coil coatings, wood coatings and pigment concentrates. Its recommended dosage is 30-90% on organic pigments, 10-15% on inorganic pigments, 5-6% on titanium dioxides and 70-140% on carbon black.
