Solution of polyamine amides of unsaturated polycarboxylic acids. Acts as a wetting and dispering additive for solvent-borne systems. Developed to stabilize oxide pigments and carbon blacks. Possesses an especially strong affinity to acidic groups on the pigment surface. Reduces pot life. Loses its stability and reduces effectiveness, in the presence of water. Used in solvent-borne automotive and industrial coatings.
