BYK® -UV 3519

BYK® -UV 3519 by BYK is a scratch and abrasion resistance additive. It is a dispersion of surface-treated silica nano-particles. It improves impact resistance, increases hardness and flexibility of radiation curable clearcoats. It is designed for solvent-borne and solvent-free radiation curable clearcoats which are used in general industrial-, wood- and furniture coatings. Its dosage level is 1% to 25% based on the total formulation. BYK® -UV 3519 has a shelf life of 18 months.
