BYK® -4511

BYK® -4511 by BYK is a solution of a copolymer with functional groups. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Can be used to increase the adhesion on various metal substrates (e.g. steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum) as well as on glass. Possesses good compatibility with 2-pack epoxy systems and baking enamels (e.g. alkyd melamine, acrylic melamine). Offers significant increase of adhesion, flexibility and surface tolerance. It has no negative influence on weather resistance. Used in protective and industrial coatings. BYK® -4511 has a shelf life of 14 months at 20°C.
