DISPERPLAST® -1142

DISPERPLAST® -1142 by Byk (Altana Group) is a polar, acidic ester of long-chain alcohols. Acts as a solvent-free, wetting and dispersing additive for PVC plastisols. Reduces viscosity and improves the dispersion of filled and pigmented systems. It is particularly recommended for inorganic pigments and fillers. The product enables greater solids content, improves the color strength of the pigments and shortens dispersion time. DISPERPLAST® -1142 recommended dosage is 5-7% (organic pigments), 15-80% (carbon blacks), 1-3% (zinc oxide), 1-3% (inorganic pigments), 1-2% (blowing agent) and 1-3% (Inorganic filler) of additive based upon total formulation.
