BYK® -9077

High molecular weight copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-free systems and pigment concentrates. Reduces viscosity and leads to more Newtonian flow behavior in the mill-base. Deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments. Provides equal electrical charge to pigments and thus avoid additionally possible co-flocculation of pigments that are not equally charged. Reduces viscosity, improves leveling, and allows high pigment loading. Offers high gloss, and improved color strength. Stabilizes basic carbon black pigments. Does not contains plasticizers. Used in pigment concentrates and PU floorings.
