Acrylan PB 25

Acrylan PB 25 is an anionic silicate-polyvinyl alcohol-compound by Baumeister. It acts as a rheology modifier. It is suitable as a hybrid co-binder containing an exfoliated layer silicate for strength and coating hold-out enhancement. Acrylan PB 25 offers reduced high-shear viscosity, improved water retention and amount of latex binder can be reduced significantly. It provides improved fiber coverage, good paper smoothness & gloss, reduced binder amount and improved coater runnability.
