Loxanol® CA 5086

Loxanol® CA 5086 by BASF is a non-volatile, medium molecular weight coalescing solvent, plasticizer and non-ionic surfactant. It is compatible with acrylic emulsion polymers, epoxies, alkyds, polyesters and phenolic resins. It is used in exterior & elastic paint plasters, wood paints & stains, and interior matt-, silk-, semi-gloss- and gloss paints.

• It improves flexibility & toughness, reduces brittleness & water sensitivity and enhances film formation.
• Loxanol® CA 5086 is recommended for water-based systems, low-VOC- and high PVC paints.
• It is suitable for automotive OEM-, architectural- and industrial coatings.
• The recommended dosage level is 1-2%.
• It has a shelf life of 1 year.
