FoamStar® SI 2216 by BASF is a modified polydimethylsiloxane-based defoamer. Suitable for aqueous pigment concentrates and systems with high surfactant content. FoamStar® SI 2216 is recommended for low-VOC systems. Used in colorants and silk/semi-gloss, gloss paints as well as in plasters, exterior and elastic paints.
